How to choose an EOR.

Give every provider the same brief. Compare their answers for your actual hire.

Before your provider call

  1. Define the hire

Set the country, role, headcount and start date. Ask who will employ the person and whether the role is supported.

    Find providers by country ↗
  2. Get the full cost

Request an itemised quote: salary, employer costs, service fee, benefits, FX, deposits and one-off charges.

    Plan the full cost ↗
  3. Know who owns a problem

Ask for a named contact, an escalation route and the expected response and resolution times for payroll issues.

  4. Check how you leave

Read the agreement for notice, renewals, offboarding fees and deposit refunds. Check employment obligations with qualified local advice.

  5. Try the everyday work

Ask the provider to demonstrate onboarding, payroll and the employee view. Then ask it to correct a mistake.
