The decision you are making
Business stability is about continuity of employment, payroll and access to records. Use company records, dated financial information and delivery arrangements to understand the risks behind a brand.
Identify the business behind the name
Record the contracting company, employing company, parent and important delivery partners. Acquisitions and rebrands can change the service route without changing every employee’s contract on the same day. Keep historical brands separate from current independent offers.
- Registered names and identifiers.
- Ownership or partnership relationship.
- What changes for existing and new customers.
Put financial claims in context
A funding announcement describes a transaction at a point in time. A local subsidiary’s accounts describe that entity, not automatically the whole group. Read the period, audit scope and any parent-support statement before drawing conclusions.
- Date and entity covered by the evidence.
- Cash, obligations and continuing support commitments.
- What is actually established about prepaid funds.
Ask how service would continue
Walk through a change of local partner or a provider outage. Find out who holds the payroll records, where you can obtain them and how payments could continue. A continuity plan should name the people, dependencies and decisions involved.
- Payroll and document access during an outage.
- Notice and transition arrangements for partner changes.
- Treatment of deposits and unpaid employment obligations.
From the research: Omnipresent
Deel documents its acquisition of Omnipresent and migration of its customers and workers. Retain Omnipresent as a historical acquired brand linked to Deel; do not treat its old standalone offer as current.
From the research: Remote
UK accounts identify Remote Europe Holding BV as sole/direct shareholder and Remote Technology Inc as ultimate group parent. Going-concern note says additional parent funding needed under base/downside cases for 12 months after approval; parent intends to provide funds and not seek repayment of group debt in that period, with no certainty support will continue. KPMG opinion dated 11 August 2026 reports true/fair statements and no identified material uncertainty. This is qualified evidence of reliance, not a group solvency opinion.
From the research: Teamed
The latest public accounts cover sixteen months, 1 December 2023 to 31 March 2025, approved 22 December 2025. They use the small-company audit exemption; Chapman Robinson and Moore prepared them without audit or review and expressed no assurance opinion. The profit-and-loss account was not filed, so turnover and period profit cannot be verified from this filing.
Take this into your provider call
How would payroll, employee records and prepaid funds be protected if your business or local partner changed?
Give each shortlisted provider the same scenario and ask for the answer in the documents you will sign. Record the owner, any extra cost and what remains to be agreed. That makes the final comparison practical for HR, finance and the employee.
