The decision you are making
Good support is easiest to assess through a specific case. Pick a situation that would disrupt your team, then ask who takes responsibility from the first message to the final answer.
Distinguish a reply from a resolution
A live chat response, an account-manager acknowledgement and a corrected payroll are different outcomes. Ask what each published service metric measures, which hours it covers and whether the promise appears in the agreement.
- Response time and resolution time.
- Employer and employee support channels.
- Local time coverage, weekends and urgent cases.
Follow an escalation
Use an example such as a disputed payslip or a sick-leave question. Ask the account contact to explain how the case reaches the local specialist, who updates you, and who can authorise a correction. The employee should not have to act as a messenger between teams.
- Name a case owner and a backup.
- Set an escalation route when the first answer is incomplete.
- Agree how decisions and next steps are recorded.
Read customer accounts with context
Look for the product, country, date and eventual outcome. An employee using a payment wallet may be describing a different service from an employer buying EOR. Keep the provider response alongside a complaint and look for repeated operational themes without turning a selected review sample into a failure rate.
- Separate service accounts from contractor-payment experiences.
- Check whether the customer reports a resolution.
- Use the concern to design a question for your own hire.
From the research: Teamed
The customer-service page labels 15 minutes a new-sales-enquiry target, while why-Teamed and principles claim a 15-minute average expert response, internally verified 8 September 2026. The service page gives a different 1.2-hour median and says account specialists are assigned after signing; why-Teamed offers a pre-signing specialist session. The measures, periods and promises have not been reconciled in the inspected material.
From the research: Remote
Support help distinguishes 24/7 RemoteAI from human Live Messaging 24/5; users can ask for a person, create tickets and track them with Support Monitor. General email aims for a response within 24 hours. AI cannot read attached screenshots; local specialists may require internal escalation. Global Payroll email/SLA is product-specific and not an EOR resolution guarantee. No signed urgent-payroll resolution SLA inspected.
From the research: Native Teams
General terms promise customer support 24/7, while the current public help landing page displays Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00 CET and approximately 15 minutes for support chat. These are inconsistent public descriptions; neither establishes a binding resolution SLA, out-of-hours escalation or staffed local coverage.
Take this into your provider call
Who owns our case through to resolution, including when it moves to a country specialist?
Give each shortlisted provider the same scenario and ask for the answer in the documents you will sign. Record the owner, any extra cost and what remains to be agreed. That makes the final comparison practical for HR, finance and the employee.
