Glints review

Published fees and standard terms make key tradeoffs visible. EOR-specific employer, exit and IP protections still need the country agreement.

Consider it for

Employers seeking regional hiring and recruitment support through Glints TalentHub.

Main trade-off

Named EOR responsibility, employee IP and ordinary employment exit or transfer protections remain unverified despite those general provisions.

Country fit & local delivery

Device-service terms name Glints Singapore Pte Ltd, UEN201607739W, and group affiliates. The privacy policy names Glints Pte Ltd and Singapore, Indonesian and Vietnamese affiliates. These identify group businesses, not the employer for every EOR hire. Trustpilot uses the historical label Glints Intern Pte Ltd on the same glints.com profile; it is retained as a brand alias, not a separate competitor.

Country terms differences

The public loader labels separate English SG, MY, ID and VN documents. MY and ID decoded text is identical. SG clause9.1 repeats a data-privacy compliance clause; MY/ID/VN9.1 instead defines confidential information and the confidentiality obligation. SG/MY/ID10.1 refers to applicable privacy law including Singapore PDPA, while VN10.1 repeats the confidentiality definition/obligation. These are document differences, not a legal finding or proof that Singapore law displaces local employment/privacy law. All four documents select Singapore governing law and permit Singapore-seated SIAC arbitration only if both parties agree. The alternative court clause bars the client from commencing proceedings outside Singapore without Glints written consent. Which version and supplements govern a specific EOR hire still requires its executed agreement.

Which legal entity will employ this person, and who handles a difficult local employment question?

Costs, deposits & currency

Current pricing advertises EOR from SGD399 per employee/month and PEO from SGD150 where the client already has an entity. Full-suite recruitment is advertised at18% of first-year salary. Salary, statutory employer costs, benefit premiums and country differences require a quote. The June23 EOR-cost article advertises USD299 with recruitment support; differing currencies are not inherently contradictory, but included sourcing versus the18% headhunting service needs written scope clarification.

Cash FX

The cost article claims no FX markup and no setup fee for the described EOR package, without a sample invoice, rate source/fixing time or contractual reserve-release schedule. Separate device terms permit taxes, bank/FX, shipping/insurance charges and order-specific advance funding, deposits or rental commitments. Those clauses are for optional device services and are not treated as EOR payroll deposit requirements. Newly recovered standard terms add default payment, invoice-dispute, late-interest and tax rules, but do not identify an EOR FX reference rate, spread/fixing time, deposit amount, prefunding calendar or reserve-release conditions. Specific Terms and a country quote remain necessary.

Payroll that works in practice

Standard clauses3–4 set a default30-day invoice payment period. A good-faith dispute must be notified in writing within seven days of deemed receipt; email invoices are deemed received immediately on transmission. Properly disputed amounts may be withheld pending resolution. Glints promises an objective review and written response within30 days, with its decision described as final. Late-payment interest is12% per year. Fees exclude GST/VAT/service taxes and the client bears related tax obligations, including withholding where applicable. These invoice-dispute terms do not provide a payroll-error correction SLA or an EOR deposit/refund schedule.

Support

Glints markets in-country expertise and HR support. One recent G2 founder account praises Southeast Asian employment guidance, while a January2026 Trustpilot recruitment buyer alleges poor screening and unanswered complaints. Neither yields a binding support timetable or verified incident outcome; the latter allegation is retained with its recruitment scope.

Contracts & responsibility

Four country-labelled English standard-services documents are now readable. Service includes recruitment, managed talent and cross-border/remote hiring; Glints means the contracting group company, not a verified employer in each EOR country. Clause2.1 resolves inconsistent terms in the manner most favourable to Glints unless otherwise agreed, subject to law. Clauses6.1–6.3 exclude indirect/consequential and punitive losses for both parties and cap Glints aggregate liability at fees received under the agreement during the preceding three months, or shorter elapsed period, unless the agreement states otherwise; non-limitable liability is carved out. Clause7 requires client indemnification for client negligence, misrepresentation, wilful misconduct or fraud. Clause11 permits affiliate assignment by Glints without prior client consent. Clause8 gives Glints a compliance-audit right over client records; it does not establish a reciprocal buyer audit right. Settlement authority, named local employer, EOR-specific responsibility and employee-to-client IP chain remain unverified.

Switching & leaving an EOR

Standard clause5 allows Glints to suspend or terminate without prior written notice after specified events, including material breach, insolvency, creditor enforcement, loss of registration/good standing, restrictive legal change and certain misuse or prejudice in Glints opinion. Fees continue during suspension, reasonable reinstatement charges may apply and accrued amounts become immediately due on termination. These22 standard sections do not establish an ordinary client cancellation right, minimum term, renewal window, EOR severance calculation, accrued-rights continuity, transfer fee or deposit-release timetable. Existing device-rental commitments remain a separate service.

Privacy

The recovered privacy policy, effective24 November2023, covers websites, recruitment and managed-talent services across group entities. It describes onward sharing with clients/group/service providers, transfers where the group operates, confidentiality and comparable-protection safeguards, purpose/legal retention and data-subject requests normally within30 days or notified extension. It does not supply an EOR processor schedule, payroll hosting map or fixed breach-notification deadline. Separately, standard clause9.3 requires each party to notify the other immediately upon awareness of unauthorised misuse, disclosure, theft or loss of the other party’s confidential information. Clause9.2 limits necessary performance-related sharing to informed representatives, advisers and subcontractors. Clauses10.2–10.4 impose client safeguards and consent warranties, and client deletion within30 days of Glints-supplied personal data for people the client does not accept. That30-day rule is not Glints payroll-record retention. These standard confidentiality duties are distinct from the privacy notice and do not establish a country-specific EOR processor/breach schedule.

Continuity standard terms

The standard definition of force majeure excludes financial distress, inability to make a profit/avoid loss, and inability to perform because of financial condition. Clause6.4 requires immediate written notice and reasonable mitigation for an actual force-majeure event. This is a contractual allocation, not evidence of segregated payroll funds, audited solvency, insurance or operational continuity testing.
